The High Atlas Foundation is a Moroccan charity (nonprofit) that was founded in 2000 by former Peace Corps Volunteers committed to furthering sustainable development.

HAF helps Moroccan people to improve their lives and fight climate change by providing finance and support in these areas:

Sustainable agriculture: Planting Nurseries of fruit trees and wild medicinal plants (3.5 Million since 2003), irrigation efficiency, organic certification, technical skills-building, carbon sequestration and commercialization.

Education: School infrastructure, gardens, and environmental stewardship.

Health: Clean drinking water and better waste management.

Women’s and youth empowerment: Self-discovery, human rights, and cooperative development.

Capacity-building: Participatory planning and project, organizational, and environmental management.

Since 2011 HAF has had consultancy status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

We donate to HAF personally and through a share of Riyafas income provided by you.
